@lapcatsoftware @steipete I agree with this one as well, mainly because I suck at tests. 😀

@steipete @lapcatsoftware Personally, I’d much rather do that sort of thing. Yes. It’s mimics how we work.

@steipete @lapcatsoftware On the plus side, I’m gainfully employed and can work on my passion projects. All is good, but finding a gig is really difficult.

@steipete @lapcatsoftware I think you have to do whatever you think is right for your company, Peter. I just suck at interviews. iam.fahrni.me/2014/11/15/fea…

@lapcatsoftware @steipete Because I’m self taught doesn’t mean I don’t care about code quality, I do.

@lapcatsoftware @steipete I’m self taught. I’m not the best in the world. I just make things work and know how to ship stuff. That’s it. I don’t fit the mold.

@lapcatsoftware @steipete I will say this. Apple’s interviews are less intense than Google or Microsoft’s. Google gives you a month to prepare, all algorithms.

@rogie Roasting coffee, brewing beer, welding, being a cop.

@mpshirey 😳

@drwave @siegel @RebeccaSlatkin I know a recent UCLA grad (my niece) if you need any recommendations. 😀

@steipete @lapcatsoftware Peter, how has Facebook figured it out? Do they skip the write code on a white board thing?

@mikesax I’m thinking some day you’ll be able to use any language in the browser. Seems like a natural evolution. Thanks for the link! 👍🏼

@JeffLynch @danielpunkass @siracusa @atpfm That’s awesome. What a great gift for a kid.

@perlmutations Nailed it.

@lapcatsoftware I wrote about my interview struggles, all happening during one of the worst times in my life. iam.fahrni.me/2014/11/15/fea…

@lapcatsoftware Jeff, I very much understand your struggles with interviews. You can obviously do the work as proof by your app.

@danwood I have a strange feeling I know the tool you used to make that. 🤔

Wow, I may be able to code in a browser some day and not have to use JavaScript. That would be amazing. twitter.com/stevensanderso…

@gte 44.

@chrisboyddotnet Excellent!

@laurenduca @jack Oh, Lauren, I’m so sorry. Nobody should have to put up with garbage like that.

@whakkee Good call.

@siracusa Yes, Diamondback was also very popular. Oh, do you remember Torker? Two of my teammates rode Torkers.

@gedeon @BigZaphod Holy cow! Made me chuckle.

@danielpunkass @siracusa @atpfm Sounds like. It’s surprising, really. Figured today’s bikes would be advanced and less expensive. Guess not?
