I’ve wanted to do a little three part bit on my blog about how to remove over use of singletons in your code to make things more testable.
Examples can be overly simple and look like overkill.

I suppose if things are written from the beginning to be testable, then you don’t have this problem as much.

Ugh. I just saw an example of how one should write a method to make it more easily testable.
It was horrible and over complicated the function. However, I can see the reasoning, and the example was for illustration purposes.
But still left me SMH.
@biztechkicks You should, by all means, start a blog and write to your hearts content.
I would caution against using Medium, only because you agree to allow them to put your content behind a pay wall if they choose to.
Own your content.
@mertdumenci As a Central Valley resident, up until 2019, I really wanted this project completed. I worked in Fresno and saw the progress on the section that passed through the city.
I hope one day we’ll be able to get our act together and complete it from SF to LA by way of the Valley.

CloudKit could be 100% the proper choice for what I’m after: syncing a small amount of data.

@agiletortoise @bhansmeyer I want to add sync to my app but all of Apple’s support seems too inconsistent to fully trust.
Making my own seems completely nuts.
I kind of figure I’ll end up using CloudKit, but I’m not thrilled about it.
