Already over 90 degrees, at 10AM. Ugh. All humans, puppies, and kitties are melting.

Lots of thoughts rolling around my head today. Awoke some C++/Windows API brain cells over the weekend. It was very enjoyable.

I’m not saying OmniGraffle is bad. Quite the opposite. It’s beautifully designed software. Rock solid. I met some of the team at WWDC.

Sigh. At the end of the day I still want to go off and write a competitor to OmniGraffle. There are Visio things I miss on the Mac.

@mikesax @danielpunkass I don’t see it as ugly. It’s what I’d have done too. Definitely safe now.

A gal on one of our teams was an ex-Apple employee. She ported everything to the Mac. So the base was all there.

At Pelco we built our own pipeline architecture that would have be great for this.

I still want to make a video decoding pipeline use the second GPU of a Mac Pro for decoding and rendering using Metal.

@kepford They’re known as a telecommuting company. They hire from all over the world so this doesn’t surprise me.

@ibjf I’m pretty sure they’d be ok with you moving back in with them. Just a hunch. 😀
