@tgaul @BigZaphod How did you like it, Troy? We had some tools that used Lua for testing video/audio pipelines. It was quite handy.

Whoops, I mean AR in that last tweet, not VR. Grrr. twitter.com/mrgan/status/8…

This could be a great application of VR in the real world. twitter.com/mrgan/status/8…

@steipete @lapcatsoftware @akosma I can definitely understand why. If the compiler can make great choices for us, more power to it.

@steipete @lapcatsoftware @akosma I have a cross platform C++ Pharmacokientics library I use in my app. All Swift UI little bit of Objective-C++ to glue it together. Love it.

@steipete @lapcatsoftware @akosma That might need tweaking for Objective-C++ however. Google Chrome on iOS uses C++ ref counts and avoids using ARC if memory serves?

@steipete @lapcatsoftware @akosma Does modern C++ have a ref counting class in the standard library? I’ve written my own, for my own C++. Quite simple really.

@steipete @lapcatsoftware @akosma Protocol based stuff was natural for me having done plenty of it in C++, of course over there they’re called pure virtual interfaces. πŸ˜€

Nice update from Roadtrippers. Release notes include a Fourth of July recipe. t.co/9v6ogU0p1…

@steipete @lapcatsoftware @akosma We’ve also had this experience.

@lapcatsoftware One good thing for you. You don’t have to use it. Keep on chugging in Objective-C.

@lapcatsoftware I felt like this during the transition from C++/Win API to C#/.Net.

@lapcatsoftware It still has warts but for me it’s been better than Objective-C or C++ for that matter. It feels closer to C++ than Obj-C to me. I like it.

This is why I send things to Pocket (Instapaper is also very good) and read from there. Also, RSS feeds via Reeder are great. twitter.com/bbchase/status…

@in_mandyland Keep some for me! Driving as fast as I can!

I’m inviting Steve to our 4th of July party. twitter.com/wesleysnipes/s…

Another great thing coming to Fresno. A Maker Space. πŸ‘πŸΌ twitter.com/dmpayton/statu…

@OluseyiSonaiya @dlpasco Yes, that.

@dlpasco High end CPU’s, GPU’s, expandability (RAM, CPU, GPU, etc.) No limits. Old school.

@lapcatsoftware Oh, come on now. It’s not that bad.

@lapcatsoftware Ask The Google. He knows.

@danwood He’s been a guest on one of those wrestling networks. It’s all fake all the way down.

β€œWe will keep doing our jobs. He should start doing his.” - Pretty much sums it up. twitter.com/Acosta/status/…

@chris_hawk I think I’d go for a Nokia if I went back to a feature phone. nokia.com/en_int/phones/…

@chris_hawk Those are great looking phones but they’re spendy for a feature phone at $295.00
