@billsaysthis Aw, thanks, Bill!
@lapcatsoftware Spandex, my man. Spandex.
@drwave My sister-in-law is a pretty good photographer. Always has a camera in her hand at these events. This one is actually eight years old. It’s my favorite picture of us.
Ratt, Lay it Down. Just saw it on Metal Mayhem. Brought back some good memories. Saw them in 1984(?) in Fresno. They killed it.
With all the Facebook hubbub I’m glad I have a weblog I control. If you can manage, make a blog of your own. Own your words.
@heather_mclane @JanzforCongress Again? Does the campaign have permission? Is it vandalism or theft?
@heather_mclane “I must warn you, young lady, I am susceptible to flattery.” - I hope your pups middle name came from the character that spoke that line in Kill Bill. 😀
@danielpunkass @dlpasco Windows UWP, Daniel. Windows UWP.
@steipete 2011 was my first and only WWDC. I’m so happy I got to see Steve’s last.
@phatblat Congratulations, Ben. Have a great time!
@chrisboyddotnet Enjoy, Chris.
@gedeon Nah, they should work from the inside to undermine his daily poor choices.
Sorry, modern day cops are a bunch of pussies. If you have to shoot a kid because he ran from you, you shouldn’t be in this line of work. All of these Sacramento cops should be fired. twitter.com/nowthisnews/st…
@LeoNatan @lapcatsoftware I don’t have any software subscriptions I can think of. If I ever release my Mac and iOS app they’ll be pay for a license up front ala Omni’s new way of doing things in the App Store.
@lapcatsoftware It’s a tough business to be in. Something that can help is the IAP model allowing you to charge for a license and do upgrade pricing as an IAP. Thank goodness.
@lapcatsoftware Charge what you want, how you want. That includes subscriptions. I’d be interested to know if this customer would prefer licensing it once a year at the same price. E.G. I ship 1.0 for $10, then 2.0 for $10 one year later. Would this customer be OK with that?
Too many folks have become spoiled to software costing next to nothing. Users will have to make their own choices. Charge what you want, how you want, it’s your business. twitter.com/lapcatsoftware…
@jessetechie @zero_to_onetech Jesse, I’m sure that could be fixed. Just because it’s broken now doesn’t mean we shouldn’t try to improve it. We’re on opposite ends of the spectrum. It’s ok.
@zero_to_onetech @jessetechie “try to start a healthcare business” If we can remove business from healthcare that would be a good start. The ACA is a mix of gov and business interests. We all need healthcare so lets come together and do it for all.
@jessetechie Go back to the beginning of ACA and work forward. If we’d gone single payer to begin with we might not be in this position. I still believe it’s the right direction. We have plenty of examples of it in developed nations. Too many special interests in the ACA kitchen.
@gte 44.
@jessetechie Well, Jesse, the ACA wasn’t allowed to fix it properly. Once we come to understand it’s cheaper to insure everyone the better off we’ll be. Single Payer is what I want and it’s what I’ll continue to vote for.
Hey, mobile devs, if you need a new gig this could be a good opportunity for you. twitter.com/cheesemaker/st…
