@bethannon My WordPress installation has been infected twice since I started using it in 2010. That’s unacceptable to me. According to DreamHost this last time it entered through Jetpack. Anywho. I like static sites. It’s just for my blog, no need for dynamic page creation there.

@bethannon No, I didn’t try that. I just deleted my installation and reinstalled. It was easy to point at the existing database and seems to have worked fine. Now to export everything and switch to a static site. 😀
